Canós: "WE HAVE TAKEN A STEP FORWARD"
The attacker reviews the win over CD Eldense
Sergi Canós spoke to VCF Media after his side's win over CD Eldense in the Copa del Rey 2024.
His performance
"I'm very happy, I've needed a game like this for a while and I'm looking forward to continuing with this. In the end that was our objective and we were committed to this objective. We're very happy to have gone through. Despite the first half where we weren't good defensively on my side, on the left side, with Jesús, at halftime -with instructions from the coach- we rectified this. I think it was a great game for the whole team."
The game
"We have to create a habit of winning and I think that this year we haven't been good in that aspect. But I think that now, if the team continue to play like this, if we continue with the intensity that the coaching staff asks of us, I think we're going to get a lot of points."
A step forward
"We haven't had much time with the coach. We are a young group, a group that wants to learn, wants to improve, and we're in a situation where we need to improve right now. I think that it's being seen throughout the team that we're all involved and we've taken a step forward."
His goal and assist
"Unfortunately I haven't scored in the league for a year, and I want to change that because I want to be an important player in this team. I hope this can give me a little more continuity."
